Just nu genomför jag sista delen av min MBA-utbildning vid Henley Management College. Det ska bli spännande att skriva min avhandling om innovationsprocesser. Det är också spännande att Henley nyligen har fått utmärkelsen Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its success in exporting management learning around the globe.
Henley Management College, one of the leading Business Schools in the UK and Europe, has won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its success in exporting management learning around the globe.
In winning the award within the International Trade category - which recognises organisations that have demonstrated growth in overseas earnings over a sustained period of time - Henley becomes only the second business school this century to be presented with this prestigious accolade.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious awards for business performance. They are made each year by The Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an Advisory Committee representing government, industry and commerce, and the trade unions.
Christopher Bones, Principal of Henley Management College, said: “This is a tremendous achievement for the College and proof that we are going from strength to strength at a time when many other business schools are experiencing a downturn in revenues. The award is recognition of Henley’s capability in supporting businesses around the world and reflects our standing as a global player in executive development and education.”
Paul Walsh, CEO of Diageo and Chairman of the Court of Governors at Henley commented: 'I am delighted that Henley's international reputation for excellence has been recognised through this honour. Henley is one of our leading executive business schools and its contribution to reinforcing the UK's standing in management and leadership development around the world is outstanding. This honour reflects the quality of its people and programmes.'
The international element of Henley’s total earnings has consistently increased over the past six years and currently accounts for 47% of the College’s total income. International students currently represent 52% of Henley’s total student population, with Henley MBA students studying in more than 100 countries.
